Huge 48-storey tower with restaurants and high-octane attractions coming to Dubai

Construction has already begun

A massive 250-metre-tall 48-storey residential tower packed with new places to eat and thrill-seeking attractions is coming to Dubai.

Amaal 8 will be based in the shadow of the Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary in Mohammed Bin Rashid City and aims to combine the energy of city life with calm natural surroundings.

At the base of the tower, there will be a whole bunch of new retail, food and drink options available to the public.

And in the crown of the tower, there will be at least one special high-octane adventure attraction overlooking the city. The exact nature of what this will be has yet to be revealed.

You will also be able to head to the top floor and look out at the Dubai skyline as well as the nearby wildlife sanctuary.

The tower will be built with eco-friendly technologies aimed at minimising any environmental impact while also keeping comfort in mind.

The cost of the development will be less than Dhs1 billion and will have 512 residences within it.

It is the first project to be launched by property developer Amaal, which is chaired by the former Emaar Group CEO Abdulla Lahej.

The name Amaal comes from the Arabic word for aspiration, and the firm aims for it to be a place where anyone in the city could see themselves living.

During Abdulla Lahej’s time at Emaar many of the city’s most well-known projects were completed including Burj Khalifa, Downtown Dubai and Dubai Mall.

A selection of one, two, three and four-bedroom apartments, as well as luxury penthouses on the upper floors, will be available with plenty of amenities on offer just for residents.

Residents can expect a range of wellness facilities including state-of-the-art gyms, a spa, dedicated leisure zones and an indoor cinema.

For the little ones, there will be pool and play areas while fitness enthusiasts will enjoy a dedicated yoga studio.

A golf simulation pavilion and mini golf course will allow people a chance to work on their swing while a padel court and racing simulation pavilion will also bust any boredom.

It will be a short distance from the Dubai Design District, Downtown Dubai, the upcoming Meydan Horizon’s four crystal lagoons and will be around a 20-minute drive from Dubai International Airport.

Abdulla Lahej, Chairman of Amaal, said the project will meet the needs of modern urban residents.

He said: “Every element, from its prime location to the cutting-edge design and comprehensive amenities, is crafted to meet the sophisticated needs of today’s urban residents.

“Together with our exceptional team, we have created an outstanding residential offering that meets diverse lifestyle needs and fosters a strong sense of connection among residents.

“I believe that Amaal 8 will redefine market expectations, delivering an unmatched living experience that anticipates and exceeds the desires of our discerning clients.”
